Mark your calendars and wind your movements. Watch Week Aspen is back, and this year’s edition promises to be even more spellbinding than the last. From August 7–10, this gratis event will transform Aspen into a horological playground, drawing luxury watchmakers, collectors, and curious aesthetes to town to discover the most exciting new entries.

Now in its sophomore year, Watch Week Aspen is already the country’s fastest-growing event for the global wristwatch cognoscenti. But this isn’t just for those fluent in escapements and tourbillons. This is Aspen, where luxury meets alpine lifestyle—and the lineup reflects that blend. Among this year’s marquee happenings? A morning hike with Academy Award-winning film director and alpine athlete Jimmy Chin, presented by Bremont, and a pickleball match with Olympic medalist skier Alex Ferreira, hosted by Norqain.

“Aspen is a watch lover’s paradise,” says Elizabeth Smith, Managing Director of Oliver Smith Jeweler and founder of Watch Week Aspen. “There are so many unique retailers and brands represented here that it seemed only natural to establish an event that celebrates this unique place and our shared passion—wristwatches.”

Presented by Oliver Smith Jeweler, the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, and a curated cadre of local retail partners, the 2025 edition expands its programming with even more top-tier educational panels and gatherings. Among the brands participating: Audemars Piguet, Arnold & Son, A. Lange & Söhne, Bremont, Glashütte Original, IWC, Meridian Jewelers, Norqain, and more.

New this year: the first-ever global debuts of models from Arnold & Son and Norqain. They’ll be presented alongside a constellation of rare and collectible pieces from beloved houses, including the A. Lange & Söhne’s 1815, which has the same hand-engraved balance cock and three-quarterplate that was originally introduced in 1864 by Ferdinand Adolph Lange in Glashütte, and is available in white or pink gold.

Whether you’re after a modern marvel of micro-engineering or simply ogling, Watch Week Aspen is an ode to timepieces that do far more than tell time.
